Hamer - 5.5 Didn't seem to want to roll it out today but maybe that's because Tranmere pushed up on our back four.Solly - 6 Some good interceptions and a steady game but offered nothing offensively.Morrison - 7 Solid game.Taylor - 6 Didn't seem to have a lot to do. Maybe that's because there wasn't much to do.Wiggins - 6.5 Defended ok and showed a real willingness to get forward.Green - 5 Not up to much but was hardly given the ball. Needed to tuck in a bit and see if he could get some of the flicks from Kermogant but sat out on the wing and watched the ping-pong.Holland - 6 Did ok but was by-passed most of the time. One excellent tackle in 2nd half.Stephens - 5.5 Tried to play but looked a bit out of it. Again, was by-passed.Jackson - 5.5 Good penalty and did well to keep his concentration. Not a lot else.Kermorgant - 5.5 Tried hard and shouldn't be blamed for poor tactics. Free-kick was half decent.Wright Phillips - 5.5 Missed Hayes. Running onto flick ons isn't his game. Making runs for Hayes through balls is. Missed a good chance but was the only player to show the merest glimpse of skill.Wagstaff 5.5 Unlucky not to start but would've found it hard to shine in a game like that.0

In Sollys and Greens defence... most of the play was on the left side of the pitch so they didn't see a lot of the ball to be fair0

From their side I liked Showunmi and both Morison and taylor will have know that they had been in a game.
Its no good complaining about Tranmere tactics they were not a surprise and we should have had a game plan to cope, they are not the first to come to the valley and play like that this season and they won't be the last.
