Who will be the first manager to leave his post in League 1 this season?

edited October 2011 in General Charlton

I think it could be Phil Brown at Preston.

A loss at Charlton next week would leave them 17 points behind us and 14 behind Huddersfield if they win as well.

Can't see him staying to much longer.

  • Hope it will be Lee Clark leaving for Leicester but in terms of who will be the first to be sacked, there are a few managers near the bottom who are under a lot of pressure, not sure if I would back Skiverton and Dean Smith to be in their jobs in a month.

  • Bradders at Bournemouth, now with the new investment he will go this coming week IMO with Gary Johnson replacing him
  • as said above phil brown for me, lose to us on sat and hes a goner.. the boos at the end of there match were amazing.

  • I wonder if some Preston fans were almost looking forward to being relegated so they would be able to see them win a few more games and beat other teams up .........
  •  and beat other teams up .........
split infinitive .. should read ' beat up other teams'
  • Are you for real?
  • hahahaha .. oh yes

Whatever floats your boat mate. Personally I prefer getting off on booze and porn - but not always in that order.

  • Not sure about Skiverton, Yeovil supporting mate of mine said they have had real injury problems and with a small squad there's not a lot more he can do with what he's got.
