God dammit I'm badly hungover and don't wanna move anywhere, let alone up north for no reason.

Guess I'll make a move and start on tomorrow's hangover though.

Well when the Rochdale game was called off last week the actual ref was due to arrive at 11am so we called a local one in earlier. So if we are waiting for the official ref to arrive it won't be much before 11am.

Hope they announce decision straight away. We're on the 9.55 from St Pancras!

Can feel a day in the pub back home coming on to be honest :(

are you there? I have looked on so many different weather sites and the variation is bizarre so just gonna wait and see.

The lack of info from Chesterfield is a joke. We were all over this by 9am last week. I'm assuming ground staff would have been in very very early so why nothing from an official source?

I am thinking of ringing them soon, if only to find out what time an inspection actually is.

  • The inspection is at half ten isn't it? I'd have the youth team training on it right now to soften it up.

Half 10 your joking where did you hear that. If they have it at half 10 and call it off then they are a joke club.

Why so late? Nothing will change between 9.00 and 10.30.
  • I'm on my phone so can't link a source but I'm pretty sure of that, yes. They'd only call a local official in ahead of that if it looked dire.
  • If it's off those going to Burton instead don't. It's off.

Chambta is that off a chesterfield forum?
  • I don't like to criticise another club but the Chesterfield OS doesn't even mention that there will be an inspection this morning or at what time, so making travel plans very difficult.

  • I've tweeted someone at the club to ask for confirmation.

Yes I think we called the local official in becuase we knew it would be off - Chesterfield probably think they have a chance so this could go quite late. Still doubt it will make it though if temps are right.
