Someone is kindly paying my return train fare to London on 20th March so I'm thinking of watching the Yeovil match. I'll have to stay down overnight and ask if anyone knows of a reasonably priced B&B in the area?

There's a 'nit nurse' convention staying there tuesday!!
My Boss came to London last year and asked me to book him in somewhere nice and local, so I booked him in there. I think I've knackered my career prospects. : )0 -
Try this LL, have stayed at the Antigallican, the Woolwich road gets a bit noisy!

Two places, either the Pilot Inn up by the O2, or the Pelton Arms in Greenwich, which is lovely0

there is a reduced rate for Charlton fans at The Clarenden, Blackheath if you mention you're there to see Charlton. speak to Ken.0
-
The White Horse, The Angerstein are nearby and to my knowledge other b and b.0
-
Stayed in the Antigallican before, pretty comfy and, of course, top location.0

The Pelton arms has rooms, I never knew that.
there is a Premier Inn on Greenwich High Road, which is very new and shiny and has a bar and restaurant in it also.
The Mitre in Greenwich has rooms also. Wouldnt recommend the Anti.0 -
We have stayed at the Clarendon before, it was quite good, but I was disappointed by the English breakfast.
The following B&B is at Blackheath Standard, I can recommend it and it is within easy walking distance of The Valley:

is the new Travelodge at Deptford Bridge open? Might be an option. Right by the DLR station.0
-
That B&B at the standard is quite expensive.
They will be building a new hotel on the lower road shortly, opposite the Rose of Denmark I believe.0 -
Well unless its built by the Yeovil game it doesn't help the OP.0
-
Rude. No it wont be so i offered advice further up.0
