Early on we should also have 'Days' by The Kinks
  • I used to like Kashmir for building up the excitement before kickoff but now the music seems a bit tame.
    Any idea's for something new?

The Foo Fighters White Limo would do the trick.
    This.

Black Box!? This isn't Going Live! I'd take the sounds of a tap running over Kasabian. Rage's Wake Up has a better pace than Kashmir in this context too...

Spurs use Duel Of The Fates from Star Wars. United use Rocky Fanfare. We use the O Verona from Romeo & Juliet for the video build up... I'd prefer to go down that route myself! Maybe something from the Tron soundtrack...

  • Thunderstruck is always reliable for getting the pulse rate up.we

Love a bit of Kashmir though....gawd I am so old.
Well I enjoyed it even if some bloke did talk over the first half of it :-)
  • In to the Valley, London Calling and Mull of Kintyre.
  • Don't really know about this one. I know it has been used in NHL arenas, but haven't heard it in football yet. The sound is cool though, would like to see how it would fit!

PS Rodney...love the Paul McGrath track. Originally about Jack Doyle I think, but pretty much fits Paul as well. Legend!
  • Back in Black not good enough? That was on at about 2.50pm
Not really an AC/DC fan but that's a cracking track, cranked up to No. 11

Shove the red robin where the sun don't shine.
How do you attach a you tube clip?

Played Back in Black before the match and Thunderstruck at half time. BDL et al must have been in a moshing mood :-)

copy paste the link to youtube into the comment - that will get it done :) I had the same problem, it is just too simple :p
  • Red Robin is simply a 'must' - maybe with the audio of Victoria Stanyon singing VFR - IMHO the 'rock' tracks played over the Valley PA all tend to become a blur (accidental pun) of noise - but then I'm from an era when music was played on instruments rather than on electronic devices! :-)

  • The Bosstones for when the sun is out... Wait and Bleed by Slipknot... actually should play that in the changing room Sunday mornings before we go out... we'd all be sent off by half time!!
