Might be it for Wenger. Surprised no-one got even a booking for the penalty.

Arsenal are gonna get taken to the woodshed here if they're not careful.
  • Yeah ref bottled it with no card.

Reckon Wegner will either walk after this game or spend hugely in the summer. Cant see many other options for him. Real shame but it does show that money is the major factor by the looks of it in modern football.

What a cracking half of football.

Remember the days when this fixture was ritually a drab nil nil affair

Maybe but I dont see the need to have such an "I'm alright Jack" attitude with other Charlton fans.

There's always the local park if you want to watch football. But if you somehow think you have a right to watch something for nothing whilst everyone else has to pay, then I would make you wrong.

    3-2 to Arsenal
  • Resent the way football has gone. Game of the people my arse. It is now a product rather than a passion in the top flight.

if you dont think there's passion out there on the pitch or in the crowd or elsewhere with the arsenal and spurs punters that can't go to the game then you are wrong

Yep, agree. And my one nagging thought about this season - which I have enjoyed immensely - is that WHEN we go up then so will all the ticket prices again to pay for the extortionate wages. Then what? How long before we are back employing a load of foreign mercenaries in the same vein as Traore, Faye, Hasselbank, etc who just want to nick a living from us.
