    Perfectly reasonable not to want a direct competitor on your doorstep - nothing about not understanding the club. It is sensible for the club to keep close to developments.

    How big would the stadium be?.
    Not sure what plans people have seen, but one I looked at just had a sports/leisure complex, similar shape to O2, just a lot smaller, an indoor arena.

    Don't see how people have worked out it's a football stadium?

    Why are Charlton talking to them then?.
    Er, to cover your backs. Why would you ignore the plans and possibly miss the chance to stop it developing into a football stadium

    It doesn't look like that's the intent, the shape for starters doesn't seem right, but money talks and it may well appeal to our chairman or yours.
