Hmmmm. Renewed too but the lady never mentioned the credit card fee. Maybe she assumed that I knew it would be added.

Am I right that there is no credit card fee if you book online?
  • Do it online. It's really simple. And there's no fee.

Renewed by phone, did not pay a fee for the card but it was a visa debit so may be why

Just renewed and asked the lady on the phone if I would get a CC fee and she said no. The call was 10p per minute and there was chitter chatter before I was answered.
One of my renewals was for my son as an U21 now, but he is going off to university next season, as will others in his age group....I paid up even though he will miss about 70% of games...I did suggest to the lady that there could may be something done about student supporters....especially as the Uni fees are now going to be £9,000 per year.

Airman Brown explained in another thread that the club are under recovering the cost of credit card charges. I think it has also been mentioned that Debit Cards are not charged, whilst credit cards are.

Used to be student discounts in my day on match tickets - remember having to get to Selhurst early to go to portakabin to get a voucher or something!

A guy work said he's only going to re-new once they get back into the Premiership. That is loyalty!

  • I forgot all about it and have just sent it off today. Hopefully will get there before the 5th deadline

I think Rick Everitt said in the programme that as long as applications were postmarked on or before the 5th, they'd be accepted (someone please correct me if I'm talking rubbish)
  • Just out of curiosity, any prices been released for post 5th April? I cant seem to see them anywhere

They won't release them until our divisional status for next season has been confirmed.
  • So does that mean that season tickets will not be on sale from the 5th April till the 5th May?

They will clearly go up in the Championship so now is definitely the time.

We will go back on sale after April 14th if and when the team's promotion is confirmed.

Will be doing the renewing forms for me and my son tonight plus a new one for his mate. My mate and his brother have bought 6 for the north west quadrant (all new rather than renewals) and everybody i know who had one this year will be renewing by the end of the week.

Worth noting that the £5 credit card fee does not apply if you buy online!

Yes, one of my friends made a similar comment - seemed surprised that I'd bothered. He said he'd "continue to pick and choose the games he goes to".

Why April 14th? Is that when you are expecting us to win promotion?

    7,000 sold already
Excellent news Airman, the option to keep the price the same as last season for early buyers seems to be paying off.
