The State of Texas recently decided to deny prisoners on death row the right of choice for their last meal.
What would yours be? Three courses, one drink.
I'll kick off if I may...

Half a dozen oysters
Beouf Bourguignon & boiled potatoes
Gooseberry Crumble & custard

Pint of Landlord

Would you really have a McDonalds for your last meal?

Well, mine would be the same as the last time this subject cropped up. Like a few other Lifers I have to follow a gluten free diet and haven't had a beer for over 15 years now so mine would be: 2 pints of Directors
    2 pints of Youngs Special
    2 pints of Harvey's Best
All with malt whiky chasers. They'd then have to get me to Old Sparky a bit sharpish 'cos things could get messy pretty quickly!

Oh yes, and I'd die for a bowl of Weetabix or Sugar Puffs!

100 chicken McNuggets. If I manage to eat that I am sure I could sway some of the religious nuts out there I am Jesus reincarnated and they would save me somehow.

I would order that fish from Japan that could kill you if eaten incorrectly. Then I would want Siberan tiger steak. And to finish the worlds most expensive desert: chocolate pudding glazed with edible gold and strawberry champagne caviar (£22,000).

To drink - ins't there a beer that's made by monks that no-one ever sees?

Failing that, fishfingers chips and peas.
  • Hot n Spicey unicorn strips
A panda steak in a red wine and dodo jus
Dessert don't matter 'cos they can't get the first two.

All washed down with a pint of Ambrosia...and I don't mean custard.

I've been watching the series on BBC by Werner Herzog on death row prisoners. They seem to order masses of food for their last meal. Apparently most of it goes uneaten though as the prisoners are too worried about what's coming to eat it, so not surprising they are stopping it, it must cost a fortune!

    Mine would be:
    Sausages, chips and tinned tomatoes
Bread & butter pudding with cream
A mug of rosy lee :-)
