238-8. Not a great score but a decent recovery from 147-7 with Coles leading the way with an undefeated 50 (five 4's and two 6's).

Earlier Northeast hit another 50 which means he has only once been out for less than that in his last seven innings and that was 35. At last starting to fulfill his schoolboy promise.
  • good stuff. i was worried with the earlier score but at least they came back thanks to coles. hope they can keep going tomorrow, and try to get near 300. then hope coles can take a few of them out an all.

It would be good to pick up a 2nd batting point if Coles and Davies can stick around tomorrow morning.

Any better than that is probably too much wishful thinking!

Coles really useful number 8 batting 9, could be a truly great all rounder.

    55-6....Rain stopped play.....bugger!!!

One good thing is that all the top six batsmen are out....so no one is holding up one end.

That first innings 265 is looking very handy! Hopefully bowl Derby out for under 100, pile on a quick 150 and have 5 sessions to bowl them out :)

117-8 so Derbys have avoided the follow on.

We need to finish them off and set a target in excess of 300 I reckon.

That way we shouldn't lose and could win.

    126-8.

In the context of a low scoring game these two are establishing themselves.

We need to get them out!
