    195/5, very tasty partnership with Wheater and Foster accounting for, ooooh, 90% of Essex's runs so far. I'd say that this game could turn on a big partnership... is the wickets a bowler's one, or has the batting been crap? I can't listen to commentary at work, and it's hard to guess just from the scores (we have good bowlers and crap batsmen, this often happens)

    my head hurts went yesterday for my annual pilgrimage, drinking from 11.45 till 12 last night fcukin hell I'm too old. Sam Billings great innings yesterday, Rob Key warmed up like he batted very poor show son. Looked like a overweight tar layer time to get rid.
