thought it was more than that myself, not that 400 particularly matters at all in the point i made
  • Lets hope its a pretty packed Valley on Friday.

Remember we had 26,000 for our last Friday night fixture against them in 2008, lets try and get as near to that figure as possible.

Really hope that trhe home areas are full and that we will make it a truly intimidating place for the Palace TEAM and ignore the Jimmy Seed, especially the muppets who spend allmatch looking at and gesticulating at the away fans ignoring whats going on on the pitch. Lets get the Valley rocking for the team
  • Anyone care to help me out here, can I buy tickets on the day or have they decided not to sell them to non-season ticket holders due to it being a derby?

  • Absolutly buzzing for this game !
Its my mates 19th birthday, and theres 10 of us going pub to watch the game, 2 of whom are 'Nigels' but me and the rest will be screaming on charlton as there brighton fans ! Then whoever loses has to buy the first round in town.
So yeah i'm pretty confident of a great night . COYR's

Does Surrey council know your here?!??!?

    I like that.

    Doesn't scan. Too many syllables.
Re-draft and get back to me.
It does scan, actually, if you extend the stress on the first syllable of 'Surrey ' it works perfectly well.
    Thank you.
Perfectly well? No. You have to try too hard to make that work.

What do you suggest then elton?

Nigel in the wind? Rocket Nigel's? Can you feel the Nigel tonight? Circle of Nigel?

Or maybe just Don't let the Nigel go down on me?

I prefer "Does Surrey council know your here?" or take out the council?!?

It works perfectly well. If you find ittoo hard, perhaps you should stick to "Red Army".

There must be some confusion here. maybe you're singing it to the tune of 'She'll be coming round the mountain' and extending the 'does' to make it fit, because there's no way that chant works to the conventional tune.

Reflecting on it, the Jimmy Seed can't hear the Covered End anyway, so go for it.
