A Daily Riddle......

Whilst in my dungeon thinking of contraptions for saw 7 I thought to myself why not start some daily riddles for lifers to get there heads round. A little bit more interesting than the usual "I hate this etc etc" threads...

So here we go, I'll will reveal answers at the end of every day and I will put up new riddles the day after. I'll start with 3 riddles....

The person who makes it, sells it. The person who buys it never uses it and the person who uses it doesn't know they are. What is it?

A cowboy rides into town on Friday, stays for three days and leaves on Friday. How did he do it?
