    ****CHANGE OF VENUE****

We have had to change the venue of the meeting. The meeting will still take place on Thursday 18th October at 7:30pm, but at the new venue of:

The Kennington, Ulley Road, off Faversham Road, Ashford, Kent, TN24 9HX

From Junction 9 of the M20 those attending should follow the A251 Trinity Road for approximately two miles (there are three roundabouts enroute) until you arrive at the T-Junction which is controlled by traffic lights. Here, turn right onto the A2042 Faversham Road towards Kennington and Ulley Road (The Rose Inn is at the junction) is the first Road on the left past Towers School. The Kennington is located approximately 50 yards on the left hand side. There is a large Car Park and on-street parking is also available.

We hope you can all attend.

If I was on the door the answer would be no!

I thought you would be pleased to have us from North of the river coming Sarf to spend our money in your pubs and clubs. I am more than happy to travel Sarf on business when I would - or should - be getting paid for the privilage.
  • The Kennington is a superb new venue and they will be more than happy to take your money for both food and drink, wherever you may come from.

    Now I am tempted!
I have been to Scotland twice in the last couple of weeks so Kent really shouldn't be a problem. ;-)
  • Please note that food at reasonable prices will be available at the Kennington for those travelling either a long distance or straight from work.
  • Hope i am back from spain in time for this one

I wonder if Rick Everitt will go now that he's just a humble fan?
  • Is it at the Ex Servicemens club?

I wouldn't be surprised if this gets pulled at the last minute.

  • This is the old Ex-Servicemens Club and there has been no suggestion whatsoever from the Club that the meeting will not go ahead.

Hopefully all questions will be football related. We don't need him being put on the spot.
  • As Chairman of the Meeting, I can confirm that Chris will only be asked to comment on football related questions and nothing else.

Has someone given you a list of questions you can ask him?

So you cant ask him who his tailor is?

So Chris, how much influence does Tony Jiminez have in the football related side of things?
I can't make it, but somebody please ask that.

It was nice to meet a couple of Lifers tonight. A good evening, Chris was very open and chatty about everything he was asked, but the audience didn't ask anything that would have made it difficult for him to be so.

He really does come across well and he is very articulate.

Not that this will be new to anyone but the more I listen to the man the more convinced I am that he is able to take our club a very long way if he doesn't receive a better offer in the meantime.
  • Good new venue and a relaxed happy evening. Nice to meet KHA but Oz decided to try and nick all the best raffle prizes so I was miffed by that.
Is there really anyone on the planet who dislikes CP? As KHA said, there were no difficult questions and CP seemed very relaxed and chatty. He obviously loves Solly and Yann, is keen to protect Evina from getting his confidence knocked and CP relies on people like Ricardo, Andy Hughes and JJ to keep the dressing room relaxed. A nice touch from Oz to tell CP of the support he has down under and CP clearly appreciated hearing that.
