they are ranked equal lowest in the world with Turks and Caicos Islands & Bhutan, although San Marino would easily beat them both. They are still terrible though.

fair point but heres some facts from wikipedia:
-Andy Selva remains the only player to have scored more than a single goal for San Marino.
-The nation's only victory so far has come against Liechtenstein in a friendly match on 28 April 2004
-The heaviest loss was against Germany in a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifier, where San Marino lost by thirteen goals to nil.
-San Marino are ranked joint last in 202nd place in the FIFA World Rankings, sharing this position with Andorra, Anguilla, Montserrat, American Samoa and Papua New Guinea with zero ranking points.

Just dont think 'on their day' will make any difference what so ever they should be beaten heavily also playing infront of a big crowd at wembley wont help their nerves

    Depends how early we score.

We dont seem to have properly battered anybody for ages but I think two early goals and it could end up 8 or 9.

I shall be having a fiver on both

Depends what you class as bettering but we beat Andorra 6-0 and Croatia 5-1 in the last WC qualifying campaign

We should win by a hat full probably Mr. Potato Head will score a hattrick and then we will all have to listen to the pundits telling us he's world class again until we play anyone decent where upon he will either disappear form the game or get sent off for kicking someone!

As you can tell I am a bit disillusioned with England as a football team.

Not bad, 35 posts before someone came out with the "I don't care about my national team" line.

Either him or Defoe. Rooney may play in midfield, not that it matters against this lot

8-0 Shelvey to score last goal scorecast. He's on the bench.

    Good luck to him.

Not so sure. I think they will up their game for this and will be fighting for their lives. On their day they can produce a few surprises, and with a well-marshalled defence parking the bus and fighting for every ball we may well find ourselves on the receiving end of a giantkilling upset.

you sure?? on their day? they are the lowest ranked fifa team in europe and get spanked every game, not like playing scotland who are shit but may on the off chance suprise a few, this should be double figures

Sorry mate. I forgot to put ;0).

I was just trying to see how many cliches I could get into one short post.

    Apologies.

Has anybody been to San Marino - basically three biggish hills with around 1,000 inhabitants. A San Marino player actually coming from San Marino would be a news event! They really have no business having a national team.
