What did you do different last night

For me I changed the turnstyle I use. I said to my son on the way home that we made all the difference.

A pint and a pasty in the ground.

Bought two jackpot tickets, one round by the West the other in the usual place.

Me and my brother did the same thing.. we also sit in the North Stand (Upper)... Have we found a magical winning turnstile by any chance?
  • Depending on how bad a run we are on I will walk up the opposite stair case to normal on entering in from the nth I tried the changing turnstile and we got battered but the staircase one has worked more often than not

I've been working on a combination of turnstyles this season- persuaded my wife to use another one last night and I think I might have cracked it!

Macronate, if you don't mind, can you ask your hairdresser to do one snip per session? I'm sure we can have a whip-round to help pay for the added time..

If we can drag your haircut out over the course of a season then we may just have found an answer to our problems...

31 I think; the first one you come too walking down the road? I shall be going to the Valley to pick some tickets up later, I may see if I can superglue the other turnstiles shut so we're all forced to use it from now on.

    That too it appears :-)
  • Changed the turnstile as I was 20 minutes late (couldn't get out of work) and there was only one fella on - walked in just as the corner for the 2nd goal was swung in.

So basically, I need to miss about 1/4 of every game now.

On the way down Floyd Road just passed the chip shop, another late comer said to me "Bloody hell. Why do we do it eh?" as we both knew we were already 0-1 without setting foot on the premises yet.

    21.50 - that's why.

I made a concious decision to buy my programme from a different seller last night to see if It would make a difference!! I love the old superstition crap!

Made more effort to sing - lately i've not really put the effort in. Been a bit complacent lately but today i made a concerted effort again to get myself out of the comfort zone of just sitting and being entertained.

I also changed where I sat, Usually up the back of M block North upper, but I wanted to sing with the drummers, so moved to the back of J block. Had a great night with the young lads!

Bought the programme from the second seller rather than the first.
  • I didn't go. First home game I have missed all season. Had a pretty good reason though as the misses is a week overdue with the first baby. I have considered never going again but balls to that.

Couple of changes on match thread.....I drank Red wine while doing the thread instead of tea/coffee and it was a new wine to me as well......and we (@nolly).......started SOMETHING INSIDE SO STRONG lyrics when we were behind....have a look at the thread it was brilliant........ even if I say so myself!!!
  • I didn't get up at 4.30 am to listen to it. Typical Charlton, you can never trust them.

Sung and pointed " who are ya" at the sheepshagging leak munchers. I normally know better. My bloody son told me to calm down!
  • Football full of odd crazy riturals sometimes i wont park in the same car parking

I always avoid 3 drains and if i do happen to tread on one i have to find a single drain to canx it out within ten steps

I wont walk under the street signs that are called batty mans legs

But only on matchdays if i am there or not

I wont walk under the same tunnel by the railway bridge for the next game on tbe way in if we have lost but have to walk under the same one if we have lost to rid the luck

Used a different turnstile and wore red underpants!

Also noticed that CP swapped his suit for a tracksuit - first time at home?
