RIP Clive Dunn a comic Legend, thank you for the laughs time and time again I would also like to say RIP Corporal Jones, a genuine comic character of Legendary proportions. i know they are one and the same but i think Clive Dunn deserves 2 RIP's for his work on Dad's Army.0

Just spent a good 40 mins reading that. What a life, ours pale into insignificance compared to what these lads went through in the war.Greenie said:Clive Dunns real War Records. He was in the 4th QOH in ww2 and was a POW.

A very good read, thankyou for posting , my grandad was a fireman in the war, as he was too old to serve, as he died when I was 7 I never got to hear his stories, I love how Clive Dunn used to make the best of things and just laugh about stuff.Greenie said:Clive Dunns real War Records. They played an old interview with him on the radio this evening. In it he said that his own grand-children were annoyed that they couldn't be in the video, but they had to go to school.nth london addick said:Didnt those kids sing that song grandad to him in the video
