This is related to my work - I'm asking a few people, but thought it was worth a try on here too. Please whisper back to me if you prefer not to have your answers on the board.

Can you tell me what you think of when you see/ hear the following words - just what first comes into your head (but keep it clean, please!)

- The Future

- Retirement

- Pensions

Then can you say whether or not you have a pension (just yes or no), and what age band you are: under 24/25-34/35-44/45-54 or 55+.

Thank you!

I thought I'd answered you, RHB, but doesn't seem to have appeared! I'm a marketing consultant, and presenting to a prospective client on this next week, so always useful to have a reality check!

Thanks everyone for your comments - very helpful. Keep 'em coming - the more, the merrier.

You're a right morbid bunch at times - I'm a bit worried this research is skewed by the effect of supporting Charlton!
