For Sale - Signed Champions photo and Signed Simonsen Collage - Academy Fund Raiser.

So far you've helped to raise £220 towards our Target £2500. I think we need a CL-ometer like they had on Blue Peter

CAFC999 has come up trumps with some more fantastic signed photos

Lot A: Allan Simonsen Montage

Size: 16 x 12 inches (A3)

Paper: Matte photographic paper

Start Price: £50 - Simonsen is very a tough signer and only signed 3 of these. CAFC999 has the others and they will never come up for sale.

Cheers guys, Shirty has both at the moment.

These are really good quality and the pics here just don't do them justice.

Would make great Christmas presents for someone else or yourself.

    Any more for any more?
  • Do bids have to increase by 5 pounds a time. Just checking before bidding.

No they don't but please keep bids to full £. No £60.01 bids please.

If you want to raise it by more than £5 a time that is fine too.

When you say that he's a "tough" signer, do you mean he doesn't like or won't do it? I must have his autograph at least 3 times, I'll get round to digging them out from my mum's place sometime.

I asked him to autograph a few items over the course of two matches and he literally didn't seem to like doing it. On the first visit he signed a shirt and three photos before putting the pen down and running off. The second game he said that he had already signed autographs for people and signed for 1 other person before running off.
It would be nice to see your old autographs to compare them to see if they have changed much over the years.

Thanks. Looking at the picture, it doesn't look like it's changed much. I'm at my mum's on sunday so will try and find them.
  • I had my VIP package in the Directors' Box for the Blackburn game on 29th September and Chris Parkes asked Alan when he was passing through at lunchtime, if he would sign a couple of menus from the day for me.

He did this very graciously and shook hands with all of those present before disappearing again. Seemed rather a shy man.

I have coupled these autographs with the free matchday programmes we were given , in which there is the article and photograph of his signing for the Club.

One of these will be auctioned at next Thursday evening's SCP Q & A event at Dartford FC , if anyone is interested....

He was polite but appeared shy and uneasy when he was asked to sign, everyone is different though and I was thankful that I got a few items done.

I'd forgotten I had the programme & cutting. Noticed that Jimmy Loveridge & Dean Saunders were in the Swansea squad.
