  • Wednesday away. Just knew we'd go up after that day. Plus, my old man tagged along, which due to his health, is a rarity and it was nice to have some 'men time'.

    Carlisle away for me.

Loved the 2 Sheffield games in a week too, and the Hartlepool game was an amazing day!
Also this season Cardiff was massive, on my birthday too!

    Definately Wednesday away .
  • Carlisle or either of the Sheffield double, 2 trips, 6 points, no goals conceded, fantastic.

No brainer, Carlisle away and all the the hurt and pain of the last 3/4 years finally behind us. Closely followed by Brentford away (albeit Nov 2011) and the couple of very special minutes talking to Yann on the train home; top, top man. Oldham wasn't too bad either in the back of beyond grinding out a 'backs to the wall' win with 9 men against 12 (the ref wore blue that day cnut).

We did not play oldham at home in 2012.
We did not play Sheff United away in 2012.
Whilst we have played Huddersfield at home in 2012, we broke the record in 2011.

    Wednesday away for absolute pride.
Hartlepool at home for Yanns goal which later proved to be the winner...I looked around me and everyone was tearful or full on blabbing...the most beautifully painful moment for me in 55 years of watching Charlton.

This. The best moment for me was towards the end of the lap of honour when Solly and Yann went round with the cup and Yann picked up the beret. They were our two best players in a momentous season.

sheffield utd home jan 2012 my son was a mascot that day and i think that we basically clinched promotion on the back of that 1 nil win
  • Cardiff at home, you'll never see another game like that.

I quite liked the Leicester home game - cracking match and a very real wake-up call - not in League 1 now!

Forgot about that Bournemouth game. That a huge day/result.

The only reason you wouldn't choose Carlisle is if you weren't there!

Can't argue with that, especially as I chose to go to Preston instead :-(

Bournemouth away was special though, that last minute winner was the first time I was TRULY confident we were going up!

I think wendies and utd lost that day too so made the 90th minute winner even sweeter.

Think it put us 14-17 points clear of 3rd too

followed by 2 loses at home in a week. I am certain the players thought it was done and dusted.

The weekend in Bournemouth was brilliant. Lots of lashed Charlton fans out in the clubs that night too.
  • Noone voting for Millwall away for atmosphere, didn't go but the reaction on here everyone was buzzing

Caused me to sprint and jump from home end into away end when that went in. Great day
