Only worked up until last christmas, after that it was rubbish and BWP never got any goals.

A late contender for most ridiculous post of the year. Well played.
  • Difficult to judge any of our forwards this season given how often the lineup changes and the lack of support from midfield.

I also have him as a favourite player and agree with your assessment. He wins so many headers (at 6'½" he is not tall for a forward) because is clever in that he stands his ground, and moves forward at the last moment to get his head on the ball. If only he would back in and bring it down on his chest he would be a much better player.

6 and a half inches? He must have a bloody good jump on him :-)
  • Rather than blame Yann for the hoof ball, we should be blaming the coaching. Yann is superb in the air but is also excellent on the ground, in fact he is almost the complete forward, but lacks pace. To get the most out of him, we need wingers and midfielders to push up and attack the box, he will then put players through on goal. Use his strength on the ground primarily, whilst throwing in the occasional cross for him to attack in the air. At the moment we are targeting only his aerial strength and it is very predictable for defenders to defend.

Only 6 and a half inches .... but then does size really matter?

    ;o)
