This is a great read, an amazing book.
For people that haven't heard about it, it's a book about a footballer telling a complete open and honest story of his football career so far.
His identity is a secret as he reveals a lot of inside knowledge whilst stilll playing professional football.

Anyone read or reading it?
My little guess judging from clues in the book, is that the author is Gareth Barry.

Based on the clues above I reckon Murphys a decent shout - not sure if he's played in every division (think only 1, 2 & 3rd tier).

A tad harsh Beds. I think the whole point is that whoever the individual is doesn't really matter. It's more of an insight into the game than an autobiography and the issues he talks about could relate to many players. Also it is tough for an individual within football to talk about anything frankly like mental fragility etc.Bedsaddick said:Who cares .
