Danny Haynes impressing

Not to hijack this thread, but there's a video floating round of Ian Wright being interviewed where he talks about his shit childhood. My relationship with my stepfather wasn't far off Wright's, thankfully, I haven't seen my real father since I was about six (though I know he's back poncing off my Mum every now and then I've told her I want nothign to do with the c***). Nothing but respect for Wright after adopting SWP when he was a nipper.kentaddick said:
Yep, Ian got together with Shaun's mum when Shaun was small and because of Ian's awful experiences with his step dad he decided to adopt Shaun pretty much immediately to show his love in a way he never got.CAFCdamo said:Isn't Bradley his real son and Shaun is adopted?

Haynes clearly needs a top specialist to look at it0

Do you reckon they could sort out a hamstring transplant swap kind of deal? Who's hamstrings would be best?0

What I like about Dan is that we have a load of games and we still have plenty coming up in the next 2 weeks. He has been involved lots and he still wants to be on that pitch, he still wants to play every second.

I respect the right for fools not to be parted from emotion or thought. I just don't need to take much time to think on your view. Of course most of you couldn't strategise past a sixites flat cap world view, with your cliche opinions.Off_it said:
Think you're on the wrong forum with comments like that. I respect your right to give your view, just as you will no doubt respect my view that you're talking absolute garbage.ColinTat said:That's why you don't play him twice in a week. You're a fool of a manager if you do. Could still go pear shape, but you need to protect your most important asset through winter. Just look how Jackett kept Henderson playing last season, until he got Kane and Keogh.

Ok, so lets say we hadn't have played him. He wouldn't have scored that brilliant goal and there's a good chance we would have come out 1-0 losers. Yeah, that sounds really worth it.Dazzler21 said:"ColinTat said:

That was Andy Reid...harveys gardener said:Wasn't it Ambrose who suffered from recurring hammy problems since before we bought him but finally got diagnosed as a hip problem and cured? I think he finally got fit but fell out of favour, got sold to stripeys and found his form. Great goal by Danny, gutted for him, hurry back. Perhaps we need to find that previous specialist that diagnosed Darren.

If he can get a long term solution to his hamstring problems i think he can go on to be a very good striker and potentially a premiership one. He has a strange running style - whether that is a result of his tight hamstrings or a cause, i don't know but i think the bloke who suggested that not playing him so often isn't far off. That isn't ideal obviously but he's that important to us that it does need managing and if BWP can play like he did against Derby, maybe him and Haynes can alternate - any other combination has no pace and is blunt.0

Wow, you really are far superior to the rest of us in every way. Must get pretty lonely on that planet of yours though.ColinTat said:

To be fair to ColinTat, there is an argument that Haynes and his obvious proneness to injury needs to be managed better and two games in four days, regardless of how well he did for the half an hour against Derby, is not ideal.0

Ambrose was eventually diagnosed with back problem that was sorted the summer before he left, expected him to then had a storming season but ..... didn't and left on a bosman for PalaceBlackForestReds said:

But suddenly Powell's a "fool of a manger" for playing him, the same way he would no doubt have been a "fool of a manager" if he didn't play him.
Sometimes I really despair, really I do.0 -
we need to seek out the leading authority on hamstrings because Haynes is an asset we need to look after.0

I think hamstrings are notoriously unpredictable and can go at any time. Playing him less is unlikely to beneficial to him or us. Maybe they need to look at his diet!0
-
It seems that players with lots of pace are prone to hamstring problems e.g. Michael Owen. Maybe Usain Bolts adviser may be able to help.0
