You forgot that the squad numbers will be in UV ink, so we will have to play every game at night under UV floodlights.SE18Addick said:bulldog on the front holding the badge in its mouth, flaming dragon on the back and chinese symbols on the arms. not saying im in tha no but watch this space

I just hope that we have a 'trendier' sponsor on the front.
No disrespect to Andrews, and I'm more than grateful for the money they put in but I do think it looks a bit naff.
On the plus side all of the Nike brochure kits look ok, apart from the stripy ones, so I think what ever shirt we have will look good. Ironically I don't especially like Arsenal's home shirt (which is specially designed for them) and Man Utd's red shirt is terrible, so maybe one from the brochure range is the best way forward in any case.0 -
Out of interest, which sponsor wouldn't look a bit naff? And I mean one we'd have a realistic chance of getting? The vast vast majority of sponsors are a bit naff, and clubs far bigger than us don't seem to have immunity to the naff-ness.
It seems a very strange complaint that a vocal majority on here have that Andrews isn't somehow cool enough to be on our shirts. There were never any complaints in the 20+ years they've sponsored rally cars, which in and of itself is pretty cool.0 -
Agreed, i don't remember us ever having a so called cool sponsor, we had various computer companies for years in the late 90s?randy andy said:Out of interest, which sponsor wouldn't look a bit naff? It's just a sponsor, who really cares.

You can't get a much cooler sponsor than a company that makes air conditioning units...! (someone had to say it).0
-
At least we aren't sponsored by this company:0

It's the shirt that's the biggest problem, being a generic design that any team can buy off the peg, when we've been used to having a series of (relatively) exclusive kit designs.kings hill addick said:I just hope that we have a 'trendier' sponsor on the front.

I agree much better to have Andrews than some rip off payday loan company.Nug said:

We should bring back the white, purple and green Viglen kit for our away strip. Our best ever kit I think0

It's the Logo itself as much as anything. I would prefer any of the computer companies we had, Allsports was better, Llanera was better, KRBS was better, FADS was better and The Woolwich was perfect.
So in answer to your question about which sponsor would be less naff, all of the ones we've had (including Cabrinni Sportswear - the second most naff)!0 -
Been sent this... Maybe the new sponsor and that's why Pearsson's been seen about?0 -
