Boundary Park - made Welling look like Wembley. Was shocked and saddenned at how depressing the whole place was. Felt like there was no way back for them as a club. Made me feel incredibly relieved that it was the 'Other Athletic' in that position and not us. There but for the Grace of God.................

    You're ground's from B&Q. Colchester for me.

Spent a pleasant night at the Ricoh a couple of years back - funny to pull back your curtains in the morning to see the pitch.

I always detested Vicarage Road, even down to the state of the pitch. Plus, we always bloody lost when I went there.

Most of the new stadia are smart, if souless, everyone I know who has been to Colchester reckon it is the worst. Although I don't care for them as a club, Southampton's is probably the best, although that's influenced by memories of the Dell - how they got away with playing at that place is beyond me.
  • One of the few benefits of our three year stint in the 3rd tier got to go to some proper football grounds.
  • I like grounds like scunny and Yeovil tbh more than most other stadiums
  • I really like Hartlepools despite it always being freezing there.

Especially how close the away fans are to the pitch.

I go to see Fulham v Everton every season at the Cottage. We did not see Fulham on a bad day. They offer a neutral stand, mostly to get in daytrippers and the American following they had but are losing their grip on now. Tim Howard (and for a while Donovan) playing in the Everton match tends to bring a few back in. The very fact they offer that is ridiculous, but Everton tend to fill it up and proceed to make more noise during the lulls than Fulham make when they score. They scored a last minute equaliser having been battered all game last time I went and there was barely a whisper. Get a corner when chasing the game? Silence. Free kick on the edge of the box? Nothing. The only time they pipe up is to moan when they don't get a decision. Bury made more news on a Tuesday night at The Valley last season and there were about 10 of them.

Stevenage is as as dull a stadium as you could imagine - despite having a soft spot for them.

    Stadium MK
    Weston Holmes Community Stadium
    Madjeski Stadium
    Craven Cottage
    Vicaridge Road

Although I've seen us win at 3 of these they're all boring grounds lacking atmosphere.

    Craven cottage.
Anywhere with a neutral stand and supporters who make no noise when they score.

Riverside- always half empty, in a sh!t part of the land, with a boring team to match.

    Emirates- boring fans, boring ground.

    The new den- just coz.
  • Boredom cottage without a doubt

The neutral stand idea is atrocious. I know Rugby elitists love it but its just not right for this sport.

THIS, the day they have neutral stands up and down the country is the day I stop going.

These new stadia make it a pain for train travellers.

This! The worst is Swansea City's, where you go right past the ground yet the train keeps going... and going.... and going...

Hillsborough is so massive I couldn't see the pitch from my seat, and the architecture was so far away I couldn't see the details at all.
The ground is still too small for Sheffield Wednesday tho'.
