Two muddy teams on a mid table pitch

    Trying my best...

As Chief Ugoode and his tribe of Umbanto Warriors make their way to the centre circle for a half time rendition of old man river accompanied by Jimenez on a jew's harp...

    it's 0-0 at the Valley

back to you in the studio Jim
  • At the game. Played quite well considering the state of the pitch. Fuller has Great close control and been unlucky with a couple of chances. We look very dangerous at corners and should have put a couple of chances away. Don't know how Wilson put his header wide.

Brum are absolute rubbish apart from Gomis in their midfield. They have created nothing. Expect to see Zigic on for them sooner than later.

Thanks for the insight. Really not getting much from the commentary
  • Only three goals in the Championship in that first 45 minutes. Bizarre.
  • There was a classic put up on the OS earlier with the team changes:

"The changes hint at a switch in formation for the Addicks with two recognised strikers in the line-up while, surprisingly, there is no recognised goalkeeper named in the matchday squad."

    Colin Powells revenge?

  • Anybody know what the score is?

sorry to switch to another game briefly, but thought this was odd - 40 mins played, QPR losing 2-0, not had a single shot, then Taarabt gets booked for time wasting!

Not exactly time-wasting: kicking the ball away in a fit of temper. I'm watching this game and won't comment again as I know it is frowned upon.

  • Anybody know what the score is?

    Sure.

But we are not telling you, as we need to respect those who want to watch Match of the Day later.

  • Ceddy has got forward a few times and got some crosses in. Waggy working hard on the left. Wilson in and out. Stephens doing his best in the middle of the bog. Defence have had nothing to do. Kermmy working hard but nothing fallen for him yet
  • herd of wildebeast steam past the 18yd box at the Covered End which is looking resplendent against the impressive backdrop of a dormant volcano, wisps of smoke spiraling into the upper
    atmosphere...

soapy's wildebeest theory could explain the muddy pitch
  • Got you all... I was making it all up !!!

    Missing RM today
  • Solly sends the ball forward to kern, birmingham block, charlton corner
  • stephans corner keeper punches the ball away
  • Sounds like we have came out strong.....kerm breaks, waggy shoots but goes wide

We're on Match of the Day??

I wonder if Hughes will be 'advised' at HT

    Answer to that is no.
  • BBC saying there was a wedding proposal at The Valley at half-time?

    apparently not :s

  • RM would do any better today as the "commentary" isn't one, Shrew is doing as well as is possible
  • blues possesion , court clears
  • wendies 0-2 rams
  • brissie 1-0 forest
  • Blues attack , hamer claims
  • Blues possesion and cross the ball court clears for a corner
  • Lee Clark has changed things around a bit
