Charlton Life Scapegoat

We have to have one it seems.
I reckon it's Waggy at the moment.
Praise is grudging at best and don't people love to point out his perceived shortcomings!
This is a man who works harder than most to make the best of the ability he has, plays anywhere the manager asks him to without complaint and has arguably the most professional attitude to his fitness at the Club.
John Robinson was similar in that he took a season or two to establish himself at Championship level and he ended up doing ok in the end!
Give the bloke a chance! He has the potential to grow with the Club. If he fails it won't be for the lack of trying.

Totally agree. Okay, it wasn't working for him on saturday (not as though he was the only one) and he still never stopped trying. Credit to the lad for his effort at least. We must remember he's playing out of position and imo, has played well since coming back into the team. Still would like to see the club get a natural left sided player in the summer, but until then I'd rather have Waggy with one leg than that useless non-league Kerkar out there..................0

Also don't forget that he is a forward being asked to play in the most negative style I have ever witnessed from a Charlton team.0
-
CP has failed in regularly playing someone who is truly awful - CP out0
-
waggys still the best option we have. lets hope satarday we can play a bit more like a home team should do.0

I think we should buy McOxo back, just for this reason0
-
we should buy a goat to help with the grass.0
-
It would starve to death as there is sod grass on the pitch for it to eat. Perhaps you are thinking of the organic fertilizer element it would bring?Macronate said:we should buy a goat to help with the grass.
