Randon historical interlude - Stevenage as a new town was set aside for long term rehousing of bombed out families from South East London where as those from the East End were housed in Harlow, until I found this out it had always surprised me how many Charlton & Millwall shirts you see on the train into Kings Cross etc, never many Palace, perhaps because its not South East London after all!
There's more of us Hertfordshire Addicks than I thought!

Unlikely to be any problem with tickets. The 500 terrace tickets is probably based on a conversation between the clubs and a guess at the Charlton end as to how many we will sell. Clubs don't want to print unnecessary tickets.
Haven't read the earlier posts, but cheaper train tickets can be bought by splitting the journey at Stevenage if you have a Network Card or similar and maybe even if you don't, especially if you are booking through from Kent.0 -
Just bought 12 terrace tickets.0

My 4 terrace tickets on route now 17:18 train from Stevenage arrives 18:12 and into the Brewery Tap if any members of Herts Branch Red Division want to join us!

From the "FootballGroundGuide".
"What Is It Like For Visiting Supporters?
With Peterborough now in the Championship, where all seater stadia is a requirement for Clubs to comply with, then for many followers of other teams, it is a rare chance to get to stand once again on a real covered terrace. Just under 4,000 away fans can be accommodated in the Moy's Terrace, with a further 800 seats being made available to away fans in the Main (North) Stand. If however, only a small away following is expected, then the terrace is kept closed and away supporters are housed just in the Block A seats of the Main Stand. "
I didn't think it was that big either (leave it DaveMehmet !).

I don't remember that terrace being sizeable. If it holds 4000 I wonder how many we squeezed into the old Covered End. Must have been at least wice as big.0

Right so 2hrs left at work and then it's game on.
Where is everyone drinking then before the game?
Hopefully there will be one pub where everyone goes to so we can get a bit of an atmosphere going!0 -
Heading towards the Cherry tree it's about 5 mins from the ground apparently.0

I've had a look and after the river, you bear right at the stadium on to Oundle Road. Just a few minutes' walk up there, right hand side.0
