Palace and their penalties

Anyone know what the record is for pens in a season?
Seen some differing answers as to who the record is. Some places say Francis Lee for City back in the 70s, some say Ross McCormack beat this for Cardiff 2-3 seasons ago.
Either way, Palace must've already beaten this.

17!
Have we had that many in the last 10 years?0 -
Andy Johnson had a season with them where he would fall over in the box any chance he got. They must have had a fair few that season0

I think the bigger question is have we had anyone who will take on a defender in the box in the last 10 years?Chris_from_Sidcup said:17!

The answer there is no.
We have not had the quick tricky wingers / forwards who generally win them for their teams, and we dont get the ball into the box frequently enough to get the pull downs that also win the pens.
Perhaps in Harriot we have that player who will run into the box and put the defender into a difficult position where a penalty is the likely outcome?0 -
They're bound to lose on penalties in the play offs now0

To be fair to them they've been decent all season. If you get the ball and players into the box often enough you get penalties. It's why never get them.0
