Were on general sale i believe

Not for the Millwall end. The FA did sell some for a neutral section which were on general sale.

TBF I know a couple and they are good guys just enjoying the football but sadly they do attract more thugs than most for whatever reason.

People will say its the area and population around there but then you and Palace have no real issues (unless your playing each other!)

Just spoke to mate on his way home, reckons groups from 2 different areas kicking off. They had a big punch up in the group between themselves at the Den when we played them.

The only way the FA is going to stamp out racism and violence is by deducting points from clubs so that real supporters become part of the solution and offer up the offenders to the Police. That way the pond life that hangs around football get banned from all grounds and we can re-claim our game for good.

Start with Millwall and do the game a favour and deduct 20 points.
  • Frank Maloney - the boxing promoter has been on TalkSport talking to Stan Collymore. He said he was was there and pleased to be at a boxing match and see a game of football break out.

I don't think a club could get any more disgusting.

No doubt they will just get a fine.

Sad for the proper fans. Glad we keep red division in check.

    I'm finished with the club
Had some drunken yob push my 12 year old over because he wasn't singing.
    Left straight away

I've shrugged off it in years gone by cos away fans generally get what they deserve, but against each other in view of little kids. Why would you want your kids to see that?? Unbelievable

"kids & women right in the middle of it"

Feel free to comment any time Sparrows Lane Lion, you have stated on here their is no truth in the rumours that Millwall fans attack or involve women and kids.
  • The tone of the police suggest that the violence is already being played down. I even think millwall could get some praise out of this.

    BBC News

Police have arrested 10 people in the Millwall end of Wembley Stadium during their team's 2-0 FA Cup semi-final defeat by Wigan Athletic.

There were scuffles in the closing stages of the game.

The Metropolitan Police said the arrests were made following "sporadic disorder".

The Football Association said it "deplored" the "unacceptable" behaviour and said "everything will be done to take action against those involved".

General secretary Alex Horne said the FA and the Met Police were investigating scenes of "violence and disorder".

"We will look to ensure those involved are identified and we would call for criminal charges and a football banning order to be brought against them," he added.

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett said he had not been aware of the violence but said the club had "worked very hard" to lose its reputation for hooliganism.

"I promise you, I wasn't aware of it during the game - I am not saying it didn't happen," he said in a post-match interview.

    'Very poor reputation'

He added: "We want to be talking about football."

Told that children were carried crying out of the game, he said: "I am very sorry if that is the case."

Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan told BBC Radio 5 live he understood why Millwall fans "want to fall out with the visiting team, but why would they fall out amongst themselves?

"It just gives football a very, very poor reputation.

"We know Millwall are a tough club, their team's tough to play."

He added: "But don't fight each other. I couldn't understand that."

"Whilst I deplore what I saw today. Can't see what The FA can do to us. Can hardly be held responsible, when it happened at Wembley."

Just seen the Budweiser ad on Sky Sports to win tkts for the final. The strap-line is "Grab some Buds"...spanners obviously didn't quite understand...as usual!!

They've had years and countless opportunities to sort themselves out. It isn't going to happen & I do actually feel for those, and I know a few, who want nothing to do with the scum.

"Millwall fans just don't consider Charlton as serious rivals" - Matt Little.

    Makes you proud, doesn't it?

On second thoughts, some of them don't actually stop to consider anything at all.

But what can the FA do? Fine themselves for not controlling the crowd? Would love the book to be thrown but imagine they will get away with it. Having said that Millwall could not have damaged themselves more if they tried. A no mark club for losers that will never amount to anything more than the steam off an outdoor piss in winter.

Seen it suggested that Millwall be banned from FA Cup games for five years.

Will be weeks before the authorities get their arses into gear and pass any judgement.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of punishment is given against Millwall.

Don't be surprised to see nothing outside of a small fine.

I'm sorry. I think that's deeply offensive. To Neanderthals.
