Last week after chris powell questioned fans for leaving early one or two came on and said they lived a long way away.I presume all charlton fans yesterday lived a long way from barnsley.did any leave early?
Some did. I went down for a p with 5 mins to go and see the backs of few singletons heading for the exit gate. May have been local sympathisers or scouts rather than our own fans. We may never know!

Yep I was there and will expect nothing less at Cardiff- well they could only put one past Barnsley AND they let them score. So 0-7 it should be then!0

The Barsnley organizer literally just approached us and asked, we were also given the official football league team sheets which go to the ref - bro loved it.Spanish said:
Saw that Antese7en, how did he get to do that then ? Saw he had a nice ball given to him too !! Great day for your little brother !!Antse7en said:I was there, along with my Uncle, Brother and family friend - Amazing
- in fact, my little brother was on the pitch at half time taking shots in their Tykes challenge. Nice little memory for him!
Also I must praise SCP, he initially walked past my brother on his way out whilst he asked for a scribble, then on his way back from warming up the team, he pointed at my bro to come forward whilst a crowd of others asked for his autograph. Top bloke, absolute diamond.

I was there, the whole day became a little surreal at Barnsley station at around 18.345 when a bloke walked up to us and told us his brother used to play for Charlton, nice to meet you Mr Semedo! Also must be the game with the most different train routes to get to and from the game, I know of a group who went via Wakefield, others via Nottingham, I got lumbered with a route via Chesterfield...0
-
0-6 win, one for the history books, a chance for some autographs and multiple train routes?
Surely Saturday was as good as it gets for us Charlton fans? ;-)0 -
As good as it gets is about right....0
-
It gets better still chaps, not only did some people get the train via Nottingham or Chesterfield or Wakefield, some changed trains at Sheffield or Doncaster!0 -
You might meet the rest of them one day :-)timken said:I have personally met 72781 people who were at the Huddersfield 7-6

Did anyone see the shenanigans at Kings Cross , trouble with some Watford fans , the police kept us on the train when we got to Kings Cross?
I had some guy who wanted to start a fight with a Charlton fan in front of me , & started giving it mouth , i saw the Charlton fan had a young lad with him , i told this other guy to leave it , it was Saturday night blah de blah , thought he was going to clump me!0 -
I was on that train. When I heard it was Watford that just confirmed that Saturday was some fairytale brought to life. The Brothers Grimm couldn't have imagined that day up.0

I was there but that was when Shelvey and Waggy made their debuts!!
I am there for better or for worse, just hoping that Barnsley don't see it as payback time.CrayAddick said:Whose there Tuesday?
