Honestly think we are light one bowler, a quick wicket taker Is what we are missing.
Not sure why we haven't made use of our overseas player seeing as nash is a kolpack now.0 -
Anyone know of a decent Android app for checking county scores? Ta.0

Apart from Coles there is no pace or thrust and it's all medium pace dibby-dobblers from Davies,Stevens and Shreck, whose age means he now needs Viagra to get it up.
In two LVCC matches so far this season, the Kent bowling 'attack' (one uses the word loosely) has managed to take 14 wkts in 300 overs (plus one fortuitous run-out).
Bizarrely, their most successful bowler in the last match, Calum Haggett, was dropped from the current match to make way for another batsman.
I'm far from convinced that Jimmy Adams knows what he is doing - and I've feared that from the very start when he decided in his first season in charge last year that Scott Newman and Ben Harmison should both bat in the top three.
This is a dark period in the history of Kent, currently sitting bottom of Div Two in the 'as-it-stands' table and with three pts for a draw the best they can hope for v Lancs tomorrow.
Early days, with the season only a couple of weeks old. But it's already looking ominous.

Bit of a collapse. 266-8. With no Stevens, Jones at 6 and Tredders at 7 we have one too few batsmen in the team imo.0

271 all out from 204-3. As I say we are carrying too many bowlers especially if Stevens does play. In this match our last six batsman are (first class average):
6. Jones (32)
7. Tredwell (22)
8. Coles (21)
9. Haggett (20)
10. Davies (12)
11. Shreck (5)
That's a lot of pressure on the top five to get big scores especially with Daniel B-D being one of them.
