[cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]My biggest problem with the chants on Saturday was the singing or humming 'Ring of fire'. It's a bloody[strike]murderers[/strike]Liverpool song!

Agree with you mate, although I joined in still. Blame it on the beers.

    Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy!!!

    ;-)

[cite]Posted By: Carter[/cite]We did support our team, a lot better than at Colchester, I could start another Valley Gold row at this point though.

Have you never sung an anti-Palace or Millwall song? If not fair enough but in my eyes it's all part of the day/game whatever I shouldn't let it bother you mate

I don't have a problem with chants at rival teams etc. Personally I just felt it was wrong to have a pop at Dowie in that way. I may be in a small minority but I just think that it devalues the currency of abuse to throw against people who really should come in for some like Jordan for example.

Quite. Apparently it's poofy to hold that opinion, though ;-)

    I don't think I'm a poof. Well not very often anyway ;-)

Very well put, like someone who swears constantly. When a obscenity is used it should have an affect.

Food for thought, and methinks that we should sing a lot more encouraging sonf=gs as opposed to baiting as it usually bites us on the arse but I still sing the disparraging (spelling!) one's and normally find them pretty funny too.

But that's me, sewer level humour
  • can't believe all this fuss

i just think of him buying faye and traore for £4million combined and i could call him all the names under the sun

at the end of the day, people pay a lot of money, to travel a long way for banter and a laugh with their mates, nobody got hurt, nothing to write home about

All I heard was the "dowie what's the score?" which got Cov fans singing.

Shame "that's why you got the sack" didn't get an airing. Next May perhaps.
