That's not good mate. Hope you got a few quid out of it.Greenie said:I think they will win because Olloway knows how to play a cup tie essentially this is what the playoffs are! Poyets and Zolas tippy tappy thoughtful football aren't good enough in a cup final against a team that put it about!
It's been a shit day for me I get made redundant and the stripey twats get to Wembley!
Thought Palace played some good football (I only saw the 2nd half...) and they didn't seem to miss Murray at all. Fair play to them getting such a good result at Brighton, who only have themselves to blame after not scoring in either leg.

never "scum"---TOSSERS is the word your looking for.0

Not scum, weird!0

I have a problem with Mondays at the best of times, yesterday was a particularly shite day and then to top it off with what sounds like a Brighton no show...
I hate those stripey red n blue mugs!0 -
Anyone see the crying Brighton fan in a jester hat ? Someone like that needs a slap0

So a Palace fan posts on a ten page threadAbsurdistan said:
What a surprise (were you there?) now F'off and leave us to wallow in our disappointment.maestro said:I'm sure you'll be 'up' there next season. Palace Powell has done a great job at the valley.
concerning his team send you tell him to f*.ck off - class.
With all the snivelling and bitching going on here it's no wonder they call us clowns, some of the comments on here are embarrassing.0 -
I haven't looked at the Brighton messageboards yet, I can imagine the feeling there. Not only losing to your big rivals, but doing do when you're the favourites too, and indeed many people's favourites to win the playoffs.
At least when Palace beat us in the playoffs in 1996 it wans't a big shock, as we were in terrible form, but before this game, Palace were the ones struggling.0 -
I'm feeling it too brother. Don't so much have a dislike of Watford (just the whole "borrow a suad" ethics has made me want to see them fail this season). Palace however is a hate for life.Huskaris said:This really upsets me. Two teams I really dislike and one of them will get to the premiership.
I predicted (more out of hope than expectation) that the final would be Brighton v Leicester. Shows you that I know shit all about football.................................0 -
I saw it. That was not the clobber of any self-respecting heterosexual football fan.nolly said:Anyone see the crying Brighton fan in a jester hat ? Someone like that needs a slap
I wonder if he went to the Withdean?

Yeah I do remember that. I believe we were told they would create 'quite the intimidating atmosphere' and the crowd was then asked to flappy-clap along to "We will rock you" by Queen pre kick-off.ME14addick said:
Don't you remember when we had them? I think we were probably one of, if not the first club in this country to use them. I've still got mine somewhere - I like them.Mr. Happy said:Those clappers have been popping up everywhere during the end of season/play-offs. Awful.
I'm surprised the opposition dared to show up that day.

Wasn't that Pardew's idea having seen them used in Spain or somewhere?0
-
Might be wrong but thought these things appeared first during Curbs reign and the idea came from Holland, probably wrong on both accounts though.....................boggzy said:Wasn't that Pardew's idea having seen them used in Spain or somewhere?

Think you might be right about Holland, but I have a feeling it was one of the games in the last few months of the Prem when Pardew had taken over...tangoflash said:

Yes, Pardew suggested it to build the atmosphere in the ground for our relegation dogfight. They clearly helped!0

lasted about three games thankfully we had some substance about us0

Wasn't it just for one game, Sheff Utd?0

The away game to Fulham, the club had 1000's of red Zorro masks for us to put on when we scored. Needless to say we didn't score.Plaaayer said:Thought it was the Fulham game for some reason.

3,000 Charlton fans at Loftus Road for the Zoro cup game.0

One of the benefits of the Mysterons running the shop now. No more cringeworthy ideas to enhance the cause of happy clapping at football. They just don't give a toss for that sort of thing and it suits me tbh.0

Michael Glickstein is back in charge?0

Millwall at Wembley, and now Palace at Wembley too.
All in the same season.
Makes me feel sick.0
