    I am guessing the collar is dark blue rather than the black it looks in the picture though, Gary?

    Its navy blue, saw one in the flesh at a FA employees house, and it's back to the dark blue that the kit always had.

    Don't mind it - I like that they've remembered England wear white and navy, rather than pretending they're Real Madrid. Hope they go for navy shorts too.

    or saving your best clobber to watch 90 minutes of football surrounded mainly by strangers (who couldn't give a to$$ what label you've got on) living with the knowledge that you're actually too fat to wear a replica shirt and you've got nowhere else to wear your labels?

    Worn down the pub and to games.

    And wearing labels to show off to others that you wear labels is the same as wearing a replica shirt. A bit sad.

    Quite a few people work out in football shirts, myself included from time to time. Footballers wear nylon to run around for 90 minutes, so I don't see what the big issue is about it.

    Not that I usually put much thought into it. I must be a sad person without the fashion expertise of your good self Henry.

    Can someone tell me why being a hooligan and vandalising as an expression of your "tribe" is acceptable, which paraphrases what I've read on here previously, yet wearing the shirt of your "tribe" appears to be derided?

    Personally i wouldnt wear a replica shirt as i find that most people i see around wearing one usually smell like BO (in Bexleyheath this a very common occurence) and i dont wish to be associated with the smelly folk.

    Plus getting another mans name on the back of your clothes is all a bit too weird.

    Fair enough if thats what you wanna do, but its not for me.

    Next you'll be telling us that no one over fifteen should ever play on a games console; then I guess we'll get the "It's disgusting for anyone over fifty to have sex"; and last, but by no means least, no one over nine should get Christmas Presents as they can't possibly still believe in Santa Claus!

    I don't like the new England shirt. I've bought a few of them over the years as I do tend to wear them when I watch England on the tele in major tournaments. I haven't liked, or bought, one since 2009 and I can't see me buying the Nike one - I don't like it.

    Never said anyone shouldn't wear a nylon shirt just "look at yourself".

    God, the years of abuse I've got on here for being a fashion leader out of step with the herd then one little comment and all the "replica shirts are cool" brigade get upset.

    I think deep down you know I'm right which is why you're all being so touchy and pretending its for the gym. Yeah, a likely story.

    Wear what you want but really. : - )

    The trim is navy blue as they have harked back to the first England shirt that was the same colours, no red in it at all.

    I like it, but it's not original in any way, just traditional.

    I would of preferred adidas, they make some great kits.

    Exactly, whoever thinks the history of England kits started when their memory did, and can't be bothered to spend a minute on google checking the facts should be "taken out and shot"... ;-)
