Just saw the Mick McManus thread and now Brian Greenhoff at the age of 60. Remember watching him growing up & he was part of the team that played us the year they came down in 74/75. Rest In Peace

Presumably you're talking about The League Cup game, as we didn't play them in the league.TelMc32 said:Just saw the Mick McManus thread and now Brian Greenhoff at the age of 60. Remember watching him growing up & he was part of the team that played us the year they came down in 74/75. Rest In Peace

I remember playing them CE but, unfortunately, I'm not one of those who can remember the exact details of every game I've seen since 1970.Covered End said:

Just sad to see someone pass away who had been around during my early years as a fan, and at a relatively young age.0 -

One of my first memories of the FA Cup was 1977 when they beat Liverpool, if I remember right. His brother JImmy scored I believe.
