Now booked the Assur hotel, staying Monday to Friday. Anyone up for a beer in Gib before the game? Suggest The Lord Nelson in Casemates Square. Ten minute walk to the stadium...

We are in the same hotel Tue and Wed, so will def be around for beers both days.

Anyone know what the nightlife is like in Gib? Is there a club scene or is it mainly pubs and family orientated?

    Cheers.

Brilliant, we are not clubbers but I will find out - got an old school friend (as opposed to an Old Skool friend) who lives there - I am sure she will give me the heads up...

The Gib game should be an 8PM kick off, latest on the St. Mirren game is 11AM KO as previously mentioned, but the venue may not be the hotel - it will be in the Malaga area though.

My guess for the St Mirren game is still the ESS facility in either Puerto Banus or Fuengirola.

I'm wondering about where we should fly in to for the Gib game, the official charlton twitter said the other day that the national stadium is most likely not going to host the game, where is the likely place? Where are people flying in to and staying? I would go the st mirren but im going to sunny South Africa on the Sunday, thanks

Many planning on doing these then?
We are out for the Gib game via Malaga. Out Tues back Fri - two nights in gib, one in Marbella - £230 all in.

How did you manage to find that?

Think the only airports in the area are Gibraltar and Malaga. A lot more options and cheaper into Malaga which is what we are doing, although it will be about a 90min bus to Gib from there I believe.

Chris Parkes is getting back to me later, but as far as he is concerned the match IS in the Victoria Stadium in Gib. I shall confirm.

The thing is I think no matter where the games are played, the only suitable options to fly into are Gibraltar or Malaga and those prices will continue to steadily rise.
And mo matter what one you choose your only a 90min bus ride from the other.
And you can book hotels to cover any area knowing you can cancel free of charge.

Still looks like we are still trying to find a venue for the St Mirren game?
  • I hope it gets sorted quickly as I've booked the st mirren game, flying from
Bulgaria to Malaga and won't have much time to see the Internet when in Bulgaria

    Sorry, only joking :-)
