With the season only two weeks away the friendlies start to take on a less friendly aspect.
There are starting places to be won and for a few new contracts.
The Addicks are expected to have only the one trialist but Adamo has created more interest than any other trialist for somewhile. A proven goalscorer, albeit in a weaker european league, the Frenchman could be the answer to Golfie and Large's prayers.
The rest of us will be hoping he can form a good partnership with fellow Frenchman Yann Kermorgant, another player plucked from relative obscurity by Powell and his team.
This is a game Charlton should win but the result will be of less interest than the line-ups and formations used.
Having tried 3 - 5 - 2 in Spain will SCP try it out again or revert to 442.
We at Preview Towers expect a strong side playing 4411 first half with multiple changes in the second.

They may or may not lineup like this..Hamer
Solly - Morrison - Dervite - Evina
Pritchard - Gower - Jackson - Harriott
Cook
Coulibaly
It could also be a 4-3-3 with Cook and Harriott playing either side of Coulibaly and Pritch, Jacko and Gower as the midfield 3.0 -

Thought he's still recovering? Yann in for Cook I think. Can't see why Cook is there unless he's linking up nicely with Adamo in training sessions?0
