Can we convert any of our non-strikers to strikers?

There are a couple of elderly programme sellers near the West stand who look quite nimble for their age and one of the assistant chefs in the burger van near the superstore must be nearly 6ft tall and moves well behind the griddle...

... and haven't we been told a thousand times that Robert Lee used to be a turnstile operator? The security woman in the orange jacket in the Lower North looks reasonably fit....

Always thought Waggy was a better striker than a winger and could have tried that role playing of a target man but that option is closed to us now.

Shame he would have been a great backup for yann- probably even better in the target man role, always admired his strength, bravery and ability in the air ;)
  • I can't believe people are suggesting solving our striker 'crisis' by playing Ben Hamer up front , surely David Button would be a better bet.

Not a chance. That is utterly ridiculous. Have you seen how small his head is??

Hamer has had a powerful header cleared off the line and put the rebound just over with a bicycle kick (Kermogant style). He obviously enjoys taking a turn up front in kick abouts and light training.

    ;o)

For anyone thinking Harriott isn't strong enough.....take a look at his twitter profile pic. He's cut like a frickin steak!

Did not Jackson come on up front against Blackburn? :P

I think Harriott would be the best candidate. Has the pace to hassle defenders and has ball control.

We would have to change our game significantly to suit it though.
