Watched about 5 mins. The lack of atmosphere is unreal. Sounds like it is being played behind closed doors.0

Green loses ball and mk concede free kick and Swindon scored from it0

Having a shocker.0

He's switched flanks just setup a good chance and then a reasonable corner0
-
The bloke just doesn't look interested enough, or fit enough.
Waste.0 -
Pritchard looks class0
-
Alex Pritchard for Swindon looks decent.0

To be honest I don't think he had a great deal of talent to waste to begin with. He got another, and surely final, chance this season when Waggy left and Pritch got sent off in the first game and he blew it. Now he's been sent on loan to MK Dons and sounds like he's blowing it up there tooOff_it said:The bloke just doesn't look interested enough, or fit enough.

Just realised the Swindon Director of football is Lee Power, I remember watching him play for us on loan from Norwich. He looks a lot different now0

Showing his league 2 quality today.................0

Watching it from a distance in a bar in Mallorca and I thought it was a youth match the crowd looked so low0
-
He is league 2/conference level in ability so no surprise he looks out of his depth again0
-
Just looks a bit out of his depth. Don't know if it's just taking him a while to bed into the MK team but his positioning and anticipation is all wrong.0
-
Harsh sending off.
Who's the co-commentator, Goodman? I'd sue him if he was saying that about me.0 -
MK Dons is a poxy name, why don't they drop the Dons bit now and call themselves Milton Keynes?0

Not to stop the Green bashing, but I think you're rightCallumcafc said:Just looks a bit out of his depth. Don't know if it's just taking him a while to bed into the MK team but his positioning and anticipation is all wrong.

I would say positioning and anticipation is due to bedding in, he probably hasn't had enough time to get used to their style of play. I remember a bit in The Secret Footballer where he discusses how much training is involved in knowing where to be, and knowing there those around you should be - stands to reason that going to another team midweek and playing in the next match means you're not going to be clued up completely on the positioning and style of play in a team.
Is he good enough for us? Meh, sometimes he seems to come on and really make a difference - providing some good crosses and pushing play up the field. His defensive nous is non-existent though; and in my mind that's what lets him down. Perhaps combined with his decision making; i.e shooting from corners. With Jacko/Stephens on corner kick duty we can actually look dangerous, and as Leicester found out - we're capable of capitalising on them. However, Green gets greedy and we end up losing any possible advantage, along with possession, as the ball safely drifts over the cross bar.
If he could wise up, realise that there's 10 other guys in a team and perhaps learn to track back then I think he would be a very good option along the right. Unfortunately he can't, and they're pretty big issues.
His lack of defensive skills means he's useless with regards to 3-5-2 and he'll get overpowered in 4-4-2. It's a shame, as there is often a glimpse of a very good player there. I like him, buy I'll be the first to concede that he has been given a fair share of chances. I wish him luck though, hope he impresses at MK and that he can ultimately break through and give us another option when he gets back.0 -
Very good summary, I'd agree with most of that.LuckyReds said:
