I'm 20 miles in round figures from Canterbury and if they've had the rain we have tonight I can't see the outfield drying enough to allow any play at all tomorrow.
Unsatisfactory but Essex do appear to be Millwall to Kent's Charlton and bl**** Masters is Shittu!

Stevens is under investigation by the IPL. If guilty the going rate is a 1 year ban which, after 995 runs and 28 wickets so far this season, really would leave us up s*** creek without a paddle!ken_shabby said:Match drawn. Positives are hard to find when we've lost the likes of Coles and Notheast has been so poor (yesterday excepted). However Haggett hasn't had too bad a first first class season, Riley is improving and Harmison has done better than expected too.
A decision needs to be made as to which (if either) of Davies and Shreck are retained. Shreck is our leading wicket taker but they've come at a cost so I'd prefer Davies although he's made of glass. It's a dilemma.
