    What are the rules regarding names of non league teams? As I understand it FC United Manchester originally wanted to be called FC United, but were not allowed to as the name was not geographically specific. However looking at non league there is a team called Concord (From Canvey Island) and Whitehawk (From Brighton). Do the FA have regulations on team names?

    Read in The Non-League Paper acouple of weeks back that Whitehawk are changing their name from next season to include Brighton. Will try to find the article.

    Whitehawk play in Brighton, not that odd when you think of Brighton and hove Albion, maybe brighton could now become Brighton and Falmer fc

    amazing what a bit of investment does at that level. my brother was manager there two years ago and they finished 2nd in the Invicta league on £0 budget.

    now they are spending a bit of dough and are flying.
