We have apparently utilised what we've got, utilised our strength. What I see is Charlton players much more comfortable with a football than the Southampton players.
Their bloke is biased simple as.

I think the bloke most have a bet with a mate to see how many times he can say 'strength'. It's ludicrous!

ridiculous, we scored in the 2nd minute away from home, of course we're gonna sit on it! Then scoring 2 goals in a minute about 2 minutes after their equaliser showed we were very comfortable.

    Well done lads!

Great performance and very good strength in defence. Their goal looked a deflection. Something very good going on in our youth teams. Just as well really.

It's home. Under normal circumstances we'd play at the valley, not sure if the pitch can take it though. Reckon it might end up at Welling.

We can believe our own (biased) eyes. As a contest at Youth level we were far better than Southampton, certainly as individual players, and the collective confidence we had on the ball added up to a better team too. Although Southampton's team play was more recognisably conventional than ours, we were more kind of futuristic, and we never needed to see how this group would fight for a victory, because winning was never really in doubt.

Errrm, where is the famous Crystal Palace youth team where every player they ever have is turning out to be a pro footballer?
    Accrington are better.
  • Quite incredible the contrast between the quick passing of the U18s and the hoofball employed by the first team.
