West Ham agree fee for Max Gradel.

Wasn't he going to supply the ammunition for us?

I think you probably mean Bradley 'Bullet' Pritchard

Does any one else read this as, if Kerms doesn't go then we may not sign the polish guy?

I would think we'd still try and get the Parsley deal done whether Yann stays or not. If he comes here and does well then he has sell-on value which Yann won't.

    Hope so.
Do we have enough Thyme though?
  • I'd be surprised if we were ever actually in or him.
  • On twitter he has put he is already a Charlton player

I heard he signed a 4 year deal this morning,

And it's all done and dusted

He has also said goodbye to his current set of fans on twitter.

He obviously prefers 19th century football.
  • is there anything more satisfying than hitting the refresh button and finding an additional page of posts and thinking maybe this is the big one as I'm sat outside school in a car waiting for the kids in an overcast Northern Hill town where it snows in summer..... err my kids I may add...

Interesting comment about Gucci winning free kicks. A bit of a diver?

Either way if we're going to win a load of free kicks around the penalty area we need to keep Yann even more!

I see it as more of a comparison with someone like Zaha. He got something like 8 goals and 4 assists, but he won them so many of their 5000 penalties with his pace and direct running. Palace showed what a useful trait that can be if the opposition just can't deal with your speed.

Could be an interesting Strike force we have by the end of tomorrow.... Church / Sordell / Kermorgant / Gucci / Parsley / Bakambu

Do we send Sordell back to Bolton (If Yann stays) and stick Gucci out on the wing maybe?

Just watching the press conference, and unless Powell is briefing off the record to the two hacks involved, it doesn't look like he's going anywhere

Personally I'd send Sordell back just to free up another loan slot if we don't get in the players we want by the end of tomorrow and have to bring them in when the loan window reopens.

Not sure we can send him back , but Bolton might recall him if they had another interested club to loan him to.

Remember Bournemouth were interested when we got him and if Kermo stays put would steady Eddie make another bid for his services?

We can have all the strikers in the world but we need to supply them. Need at least one winger and a replacement for Stephens.

We desperately need a winger and a few other creative players to get the ball to the forwards. We miss someone like Stewart who can knock in a few too. Shame we couldn't keep him on.

perhaps we are going to forget about wingers and just play with 3 strikers & 3 midfielders ! lol

I think now we have all this strength in depth, and hopefully better quality players, Danny Green will at last get his chance to shine.

I don't think Powell fancies Harriott or Green so yes, definitely two wingers. Who knows what the remaining 24 odd hours will bring.....

I would be elated if Yann stayed.
