Reza Yann Parzyszek Sordell Church ain't too bad. Wouldn't mind adding Bakambu to it though.

Sounds good - why not play all 6 forwards.

Our defenders could play hoofball, and we could dispense with midfield completely.

    Edit: Oh, we already do.

Plus, we currently have 4 strikers:

    Church, Yann, Sordell, Gucci.

If Yann goes and the Polish striker replaces him, then have have 4 again. So surely we won't be getting the (new) Frenchman as well? And certainly not if Yann signs on again.

If Yann does stay, then his and Parzyszek would be useful, and Reza as a nippy little pain for the last 20 minutes of game.

Would be a massive upgrade up front

But which of the three would play alongside Church ; - )

Judging from his efforts on the pitch, he won't give a toss.

if Chris is willing to let Pritchard and Cook go out on loan doesnt that leave us pretty short in midfield, numbers wise, as Gower is injured apparently and Hollands is no where to be seen, unless there is another midfielder coming in?

Some kid from Folkstone I heard. Highly rated

Not a bad idea tbh. Just get Danny Green in the 'pivot' role, spraying badman passes into the box from EVERY angle.

It's all set up for 'The Return of Danny Hollands' in accordance with prophecy.

I reckon we'll go for 5... Just to cover an injury...

Might even go for six and utilize Gucci as a winger because if Yann were to go in the last hour tomorrow we'd be screwed trying to bring someone else in

    Alnwick

    Solly Wood Morrison Wiggins

    Green

    Reza Kermorgant Parzyszek Church

See above for my predicted starting 11 for Wigan away.

I've counted through that twice now and still only get to ten names!

It's funny how players we've never seen are always going to be amazing.
I seem to remember Sordell was going to be the final piece of the jigsaw.

Green is playing in the 'pivot' role, so counts as two players. Get with it.

We'd play 4-5-1, Henry. Church up front.

And all the other strikers on the bench.
