Any chance we could keep this thread for actual transfer rumours. Just ploughed through a load of bollocks about dark forces and agendas for no reason.
  • Am I the only one getting bored of reading constant digs from airman at the board from no matter who they are.

    So weird

Newcastle are successful and we're not. We're more like a s**t version of Watford.

Very first reason for why he wanted to go to Bournemouth "well they play football on the floor" - if that isn't a kick in the teeth to SCP, I don't know what is!!!

As others have said: he did great here, was offered a chance to stay but took more money elsewhere. Good luck to him - let's move on.

The thing is Yann ain't all that on the floor his main strength is in the air....

Come on AB who do u think told SD and why

I really don't know, as I've said above, and it would be unfair on people at the club to speculate, but I don't think it's likely to be shit-stirring or malicious or anything to do with staff who have left.
  • What truth

That for two weeks yann and cafc have been discussing contracts

That yann spat his dummy out in a meeting with senior people when it was said we could just envoke the extension

That he turned it down again on wed

That the club accepted the offer from afcb

That yann and powell were told this

Do you want me to believe that powell a former pfa chairman

A pro for over two decades didn't know yann would then go to speak to afcb

Its bollox powell knows more than anyone on here what goes on at our club

Now I don't doubt SD and his cafc loyalty

But he has worked for cafc and knew what that post would cause

So who duped him and why or why hang powell out like that because who knows what RD would make of such statemenyts
  • come on guys just leave it as it's in the past along with Dale, Ben and Yann, lets look forward to whatever it might bring and hope CP is still our manager/coach

I disagree. He's shown many good touches. Just never got the chance to show that side of his game enough because he is so good in the air and we played to that.

you could be right ! but i was thinking of how unpopular Mike Ashley was when he first took over .RD isnt that popular right now but as they say you make a cake unless you break a few eggs

remember JJ usually likes to tweet something ridiculous on deadline day... at the minute i'd probably believe anything - nothing seems too ridiculous over the last 48 hours!

I've just thought have we got to play Bournemouth again this season?

yes, at The Valley (waiting to be rearranged as cancelled due to our Cup run)
I can already see the thread "will we clap or boo Yann"

Ha ha ha, you're either looking for a reaction (oops you've got one) or you don't watch our games.

Yann, along with Wiggins I would say in mu opinion always look the most comfortable with the ball at there feet. Morrison bless him, on the other hand, looks frightened of it.

No unfortunately I watch a vast majority of our games. I just don't watch through charlton glasses he is really not that great, hence only Bournemouth coming in for him - not exactly a step up eh.

A lot of ppl big him up but he went missing a in games esp against the scum. I honestly think it is offensive to mention him as a legend alongside likes of Rufus, mendoncea, hunt, Robinson, leaburn, kinsella, hollands

We can only do a headcount check at midnight tonight and assess from there I suspect.
  • Still need to get a winger in badly.
  • So as we stand it's Sordell and Church up front tomorrow ? Reza off the bench for when we go three down.

According to JT whose brother is training with us currently, and played against the first team this morning, Reza is starting with Poyet in the middle!

    Jackson and Cousins ?

  • @RichCawleySLP: Not sure if been confirmed yet as a #cafc deal, but Piotr Parzyszek trained with club this morning. Sounds done and dusted.
