Yeh he was everyones favourite from that team is the only point i was making. Which is true.cabbles said:
Semedo, cult hero? He had a name that fitted a catchy terrace chant but all players who played for us during the dark years of the 2007/08 season through to the start of the 2011/12 season apart from Shelvey and Reid were dross, let alone worthy of cult hero status........Addick90 said:The last time we lost our cult hero at the time (or so we thought) was semedo, we had a complete change of team with dozens of incomings and outgoings that saw us lose 1 maybe 2 games in the first half of the season. More of the same for the last half of this - we can hope. Albeit they are from feeder teams and we have sold some good players, but as Powell mentioned in his conference, all of the players we are being linked with were on his radar before the takeover.

Welcome Piotr Parzyszek you are the reason Charlton fans have gone into melt down regarding Yann being sold but i have a good feeling about you, good bit of business by the club0
-
Looking forward to seeing our new strike partnership. Either going to be a great success or guaranteed League One next year.
Lets just hope then can gel immediately.0 -
10/1 First goalscorer tomorrow0
-
No pressure Pete but we need you to start scoring goals STRAIGHT AWAY. As I said no pressure!
Good luck mate and welcome to the mad house!0 -
A winger and a CM otherwise we're still weaker.4
-
Lets move onto the Midfield now...Gradel fell apart so we need to move onto someone else.0

really think we should go for Thomas Eisfeld at Arsenal. Excellent footballer with eye for pass, he is 21 and no closer to first team appearances outside of the cups. Looked excellent in league cup earlier in season and was highly regarded at Dortmund, but kept out of team by Gotze. Never going to be on our radar, but got to beat playing for development squad surely0
-
Damn - was hoping for Gradel. BME, I make you right. Definitely still need a winger and a CM. We have lost creativity with Yann and Dale going and don't know how much of that we got back with the new kids on the block. Plus who will be our free kick specialists?0
-
Got a feeling tomorrow there'll be lots of "get your foot in...err...number 27".0
-
Good luck Polish Pete. If you are not involved with the squad tomorrow , are you any good at tiling bathrooms ??0
-
Here's confirmation of another line we brought you earlier as Leicester striker Martyn Waghorn heads out on loan again - this time he's joined Wigan.0
-
Still think we'll get Gradel0

Any news on the bloke from Nantes0
-
I know it didn't come off but shows a bit of ambition2

16 goals in 20 games.......good goal /game ratio in anybody's books, hes young and hungry...which is more than some of the minor money chasing non entities that have just left the club...good ridance to them1

@SkySportsNews: Avram Grant arrives at #SSN to give an overview on all the latest transfer deals - coming up this hour http://t.co/UZeg0E3Fp00 -
nearly 100 pages of craziness - selling three of our best current players and buying two (seemingly) rated strikers - its never boring being a charlton fan1

It isnt all doom and gloom. The way i see it we still have our defence, which is the joint second best in the bottom half of the table,
Lets crack open the champagne on that one..
What a joke this is.1
