So why wasn't he in goal today or even on the bench? Simply injured as some believe or something more suspicious?

Thuram although should have done better with the goal. It sounded like he made a few good saves to keep it at 1 nil0

Officially ill.
Although, it does cross my mind as to whether he refused a place on the bench :-)
We'll find out soon enough.
Now if he can post up a sick note ......1 -
I wonder whats stopping Alnwick from training or playing at Orient

Hmm, wonder if this was something we knew about? If so it would make sense why we let him go.peters8 said:I wonder whats stopping Alnwick from training or playing at Orient

Definitely something's wrong with him. Orient only signed him on a six month deal, so they had to be concerned too.0

Complications following beard removal.
On a more serious note, hope he's okay.0 -
Perhaps, RD is a genius after all :-
It's possibly a family issue or mental health issue, but I suppose it's not nice to speculate.
I hope he/his family are ok.
Ben Alnwick will be away from the Club for a period of time having been signed off on medical grounds.
Alnwick only joined Orient from Charlton last week but a personal situation has arisen in the last few days which is currently preventing him from training or playing matches.
We will be making no further comment on the situation at this time.

Probably depression brought on from being Charltonised.
I wish him well.0 -
this from me too. Maybe the Club was aware of some issue hence his leaving and I thought CP did skirt the issue a bit when asked.Henry Irving said:Good luck Ben and hope all is OK soon

Do you think Charlton had the "He's not our problem anymore" attitude when agreeing to sell him?
Harsh if they did, but that's business I suppose.
Hope he is okay and hope to see him in action again soon.0 -
Blimey! Best wishes to Ben and hope all is well soon.0

Best wishes to Ben and I hope all is ok with him.0

Can you imagine the conspiracy theory feeding frenzy which would have kicked off on here had this happened while he was still on our books?1

Wish him and his family all the best - doesn't sound too good.0
-
Good luck Ben
The O,s have already found a replacement so it does not look good0 -
Hope it gets sorted soon, talented footballer. It does suggest why he has not been number one anywhere for along period in his career.0
