I am not far away from the landmark of 10,000 posts, 9882. Is there an award for this? Gold watch, Carriage Clock etc?

I wonder how many others have gone through 10k?

Also on 564 Discussions Started. Maybe to work out your nett contribution to the site you should divide the number of posts you have made by the number of threads you have started. The lower your score, the bigger contribution you have made overall.

    Surely a better way to judge it would be by likes and lols combined.

    Well firstly Confucius, Likes and Lols are very new and also they are opinions, subjective and not representative because you don't have to Like or Lol.

    ...so if someone joins today and immediately starts a thread they have a rating of 1 and win this particular contest? You haven't really thought this through have you?

    You need to factor in how long they've been posting, how many previous incarnations the mods have allowed them, average posts before a ban, has [insert name of your least favourite poster here] been particularly snidey/abusive to them, etc, etc
