    Both? But seriously, Onouhua dived, blatantly. He did anything other than fall over and QPR may well have scored, the numpty.

    I did like the refs reaction when he fell over.

    Thought he was the best ref I've seen at The Valley this season, kept things moving, played the advantage, only card he gave out was for "excess celebration" which apparently is required when a player leaps over the barrier. He got a bit of stick for a few decisions but I thought he had a good game

    If he had fallen over, why was he looking at the ref for a pen? Ref was decent but should have booked him.

    He got more decisions right than wrong, which was very pleasing to see

    Yeah they're usually only considered decent if we win and that's not often either !

    The ref had a good game, though it was made easier for him by a complete lack of bad tackles!

    JJ obviously had to be booked for the celebration. the way modern rules work

    I think to book a player for diving, you've really got to be 100% certain that it was a dive, rather than a slip. It's blatantly obvious from the replay, but can understand why the ref wasn't sure enough in the heat of the moment. The important thing was that he didn't give a penalty.

    The only real mistake he made was to give a goal kick rather than a corner when Church was running down the wing and the ball was put out by the QPR defender. He took a lot of stick from the covered end - but again he was behind the ball so I can understand the decision from where he was standing, even though it was wrong.

    Even a QPR report says that he gave a decent performance.

    "Referee – Eddie Ilderton (Tyne and Wear) 7 A decent performance. Correct not to award Nedum Onuoha anything in the first half when he appeared to be fouled on the edge of the area, and allowed the game to flow, making allowances for a difficult pitch, far more than he ever has done on previous QPR appointments."

    I can see why the ref might not be sure it was a dive, but at least he was aware it was at least not a foul. What the ref showed yesterday that we don't often see is consistency, tackles from both sides seemed given equal merit - QPR and Charlton were treated equally in terms of what constituted a foul. No ref is going to get it right every time but he at least looked like he had a reason for making the calls!
